Synopsis

After the death of Stephen a crisis occurred in Jerusalem, persecution arose which was consented to by Saul and many Christians scattered everywhere, however these who scattered were preaching the gospel. Stephen's death has shown him as a witness, a Martyr and a true testimony of Christ. He died for what he taught and what he lived for. No doubt that the Death of Stephen and the manner of it was a factor in Saul's conversion experience (Acts 20:18-20). We learn the following from the life and death of Stephen:

1. We ought not to despair praying for anyone's conversion as long as the individual is alive and as long as God lends us His breath, let us not despair praying for their conversion. Remember nothing is too hard for God and that Salvation belongs to God.

2. Through the death of Stephen, we have seen the impact our unconscious influences have on other people, many have gotten saved through the silent influences of the death of the righteous.
