Reflection — October 10 2023
He was adopted into the immediate family of the supreme monarch of Egypt, standing almost at the apex of the social pyramid which had for its base the toiling enslaved Hebrew multitudes. He could have reveled in all earthly delights, but Moses turned his back on all this and surrendered his life to the service of God and God's oppressed people. Such costly choices are not made by sight and present convenience. Only faith can bring us here. (Hebrews 11:24-26)
