Reflection — October 06 2023

In an incredible display of patience, self-control and restraint, David couldn't get himself to kill King Saul when an opportunity unexpectedly presented itself to him. Although David's men wanted him to eliminate Saul, he refused to do so. God's kingdom is God's kingdom. It cannot be taken by human power, manipulation or other means. God elevates us in His own time and in His own way, not ours. (1 Samuel 24:8-15)
