Godly marriages serve Gospel purposes! For husbands to love like Christ, they too need to look beyond their wife, to Christ, who will soon complete his work in both his wife and the church. God will finish this work when he has brought all things together under the unity of Christ the head. (Ephesians 5:25-33).
