After ten years without a single pregnancy, the widowed foreigner Ruth comes to Judah with her mother in-law with no prospect for marriage, let alone of motherhood. But from the grim, dark and hopeless circumstances, God carves new history for Ruth. A second husband, a son, and a Greater descendent who centuries later was born in the land that once belonged to Elimelech. No one writes the story of our lives better than God. Sovereign grace is a game changer.
