The wonder and blessedness of the incarnation is summed up in these four words "and dwelt among us". The Word "pitched His tent among us"- and Christ became and lived among human beings in the world. He who eternally was God in time became the God-Man, He did not cease to be what He was before. yet He became what He was not before, namely, man. (John 1:9, 14)
