Daily Reflection — October 22 2020
Death is not merely an event that awaits us, but a power that rules us now, the leaven of futility that denies our souls peace and contentment. So, we try to keep ourselves busy and endlessly entertained, mainly as an attempt to divert our gaze from the shadow death casts across our lives. Only in Jesus are we given the freedom from the fear of death. (Hebrews 2:14-15)
