Daily Reflection — October 16 2020
What Judas thought he had power to do to Christ, God did to His Son by delivering Him over to His own wrath, so that God's grace to sinners may outreach His own wrath. In the cross of Christ, God visited with wrath our sins when they were punished not, in ourselves, but in another who consented to stand in our place, absorbed the Father's wrath against our sin and satisfied God's justice in full. Mind-blowing is God's plan of our salvation! (Isaiah 53:4-6)
