An extraordinary year. An unprecedent year. Foreboding, humbling, disquieting. And now comes the last quarter of the year. Amidst the darkness and gloom, may your light, O Lord, awaken fresh desires for dawn, Like the sweetness of sleep after a long day's work, may this year end with hope in our hearts. (James 1:2-4).
