Daily Reflection — September 17 2020
Abraham's long walk to Mount Moriah with his beloved son Isaac, to offer him as a sacrifice, ended with God sparing Isaac by staying Abraham's hand from plunging a knife into the heart of his son. But God didn't protect Himself from the same dilemma. He couldn't send a ram as a substitute, as He did for Isaac, because His Son is the lamb. (Rom. 8:32)
