Daily Reflection — August 20 2020
You can laugh at the Israelites that they foolishly wanted to get back to slavery in Egypt. you wish you could yell out and remind them that there is nothing back in Egypt but misery. But when the moment comes that makes you feel like you are in the wilderness, your vision of the Lord becomes blurred, just like that of the Israelites, and slavery suddenly looks appealing. (Numbers 14:3-4)
