Daily Reflection — April 21 2020
To stand before the officiating minister in church and be pronounced husband and wife may make a marriage in the legal sense; but it doesn't make the kind of creative, deep and growing relationship that a true marriage ought to be. This requires a life- long complex process of mutual adjustment - a process that may take years to accomplish, as the two enrich each other, and work towards making the one-flesh goal a reality.
