Daily Reflection — April 10 2020
It's a sick world we live in, and little has changed since that mob made a tragic choice that they would rather have the robber and murderer Barrabas and prospect of death back among them than the Son of God and the promise of life eternal embraced. People would rather be enslaved to tyranny than let Jesus rule their lives. That's why Jesus died so that the Barrabas in all of us might be loosed from the chains of sin and our choices sanctified for good.
