Daily Reflection — March 11 2020
Love, as God defines it, is not an emotion. It is an act of selfless sacrifice. Jesus did not wash the disciples' feet (John 13) because they deserved it. They were on an ego trip; selfish, self centered, and self - indulgence they refused to wash each other's feet. Finally, Jesus stepped down and washed their feet because He loved them. Love doesn't act out of what it feels; it does what is right with the right feeling.
