Daily Reflection — March 04 2020
If we expect our friendships to exceed what is depicted in Scripture, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment, sorrow, and failure, thus opening the door to bitterness and misunderstanding. But if we remember that everyone has limited capacity for friendship and seek to keep our hearts grounded in the truth that God's plans - including his plans for friendship - are the best possible thing for us, we can avoid false expectations as we pray for and seek out biblical friendship.
